The role
Reporting to and working closely with the Group Claims Operations Manager. The predominant focus of the role is to support the development of the reporting strategy and capabilities of the Claims function across the Fidelis Partnership.

Key accountabilities
In conjunction with the Group Claims Operations Manager, support improving the reporting capabilities across Group Claims working closely with the in-house reporting team to ensure the requirements of all areas of the business are met
Support the ongoing review and oversight of the Function's MI, including KPI monitoring, ensuring that the output is timely, accurate, fit for purpose and relevant to support and evidence the operational efficiency of Group Claims and its control framework
Support Claims initiative of improving the Claims Operational Model(s) by reviewing existing reporting environment, identifying improvements, and implementing changes where appropriate to drive, create and monitor operational efficiencies across the business
Liaise and forge strong working relationships with key stakeholders across Fidelis Group including but not limited to Underwriting, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, Operations and Actuarial
Ability to support meetings and workshops with Senior Management from other functions to understand their requirements and work together to develop the appropriate reporting environment and capabilities to satisfy these requirements
Work closely with the Senior Claims MI Analyst to ensure appropriate measurement and monitoring of all key controls in compliance with the Claims Guidelines and regulatory reporting requirements
Support the Group Claims strategy and business planning process, providing input as well as measuring and reporting on progress
Support the data quality initiative for the Claims function and take part in cross function working groups to improve data quality across the business
Be prepared to travel to other Fidelis locations to provide support to the local Claims Management team as required and support in any procedural amendments that may be required

Skills & experience
At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
Excellent Excel and Power BI skills
Basic competency in MS Office applications: Word, Outlook and Adobe Standard required
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills in order to work effectively and professionally with diverse groups at all levels across the business
Proven prioritisation and time management skills with accurate results
Must be a self starter and work effectively both independently and with teams
Demonstrated ability to deliver and manage accurate thoughtful detail-oriented work within tight deadlines
