Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Claims Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing insurance claims efficiently and accurately. This role requires strong organisational skills and clerical abilities to ensure that all claims are handled in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Claims Specialist will serve as a vital point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service while resolving any issues related to their claims.

Responsibilities



Review and assess insurance claims to determine validity and eligibility. Gather necessary documentation and information from clients to support claims processing. Communicate effectively with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders regarding claim status and requirements. Maintain accurate records of all claims transactions in the company's database. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies throughout the claims process. Collaborate with other departments to facilitate the resolution of complex claims issues. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Assist in training new staff members on claims processing procedures as needed.

Requirements



Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry, but not , required, as full training will be given. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation. Proficient in using computer systems and software applications relevant to claims processing. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and conflict resolution.

Pay: 23,810.00-27,008.00 per year
