About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 ADR Driver to join our transport team in Wednesbury. In this permanent role, you'll use your tanker expertise and essential ADR Licence to safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste across the UK.

Operating both ADR tankers and curtain-siders, you'll play a key part in maintaining our high standards in safety and waste management. In return, we offer competitive pay, benefits, and long-term stability with a forward-thinking employer.

Main Duties:

Safely operate HGV Class 1 ADR tankers and curtain-siders across the UK. Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste in full compliance with ADR regulations and company policies. Carry out vehicle checks, maintenance reporting, and safe loading/unloading of tankers. Complete accurate documentation and waste transfer notes for each journey. Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance at all times. Represent the company in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service at collection and delivery points. Work flexibly to support the transport team, including occasional nights out if required.

Critical Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Prior to Employment

HGV Class 1 Licence (essential) ADR Licence (essential) Valid Digi Tacho Card Tanker experience (essential) Experience with curtain-siders (desirable) Knowledge of waste and industrial cleaning industry (desirable) Strong communication skills at all levels Natural leadership qualities with a focus on process Problem-solving mindset with practical solutions Ability to work on your own initiative Capacity to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
