We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent communication with dispatch and clients. Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, across designated routes Deliver goods to clients and distribution centres in a timely manner Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met Load and unload cargo efficiently, adhering to safety protocols Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during transit Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and stock organisation Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety on the road

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery roles Strong driving skills with a valid driver licence and clean driving record Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting Experience with flatbed transportation preferred Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members Warehouse experience beneficial for understanding logistics operations Ability to operate various types of vehicles safely and efficiently Organised with good time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
