Our client, a leading business in the general haulage sector, are looking for a Class 1 Driver on a Temporary basis.

Umbrella Rate: 22.00 p/h Paye Rate: 16.40 p/h Monday to Friday. 8 hour Guarantees Paid Breaks

In order to apply you must have:

Full HGV C+E Class 1 licence A minimum of 6 months current continuous experience of driving Class 1 vehicles in the UK No more than 3 points on your Licence CPC Card Digital tacho card A willingness to learn and develop Good communication skills Numerical and logical reasoning skills are fundamental A good understanding of Drivers hours and regulations Excellent geographical knowledge of UK road network Flexible approach to work Customer focused attitude A willingness to learn and develop

Summary

As a Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently during night time hours. With core skills in driving and commercial driving, you will operate vehicles with a Category CE Licence, ensuring timely deliveries. Your premium skill in flatbed driving will be valuable for handling specialized cargo. Previous experience as a delivery driver will enhance your ability to navigate routes and communicate effectively with dispatch. Responsibilities

Safely operate Class 1 vehicles during night shifts for commercial driving purposes. Utilize Category CE Licence to transport goods efficiently and adhere to traffic regulations. Demonstrate excellent communication skills when interacting with clients and colleagues. Apply delivery driver experience to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections for optimal performance.
