About the role

Join MacNabb Waste's transport team moving bulk waste and recyclables between customer sites and our facilities. You'll operate primarily walking-floor and curtainsider trailers, working closely with the weighbridge and transport planner to deliver safe, compliant, on-time service.

What you'll do

Drive a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and efficiently on planned routes Couple/uncouple, complete daily vehicle checks (DVSA standard), and report defects promptly Load/unload safely (incl. walking-floor operation, tail-lifts where fitted, sheeting/strapping) Keep accurate PODs, weighbridge tickets and use driver apps as required Follow Drivers' Hours/WTD, site rules, and MacNabb Waste H&S procedures Maintain a clean, tidy vehicle and represent the company professionally with customers

What you'll need (essential)

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC (in date), and Digital Tachograph card Sound knowledge of WTD/Drivers' Hours and load security Safe, courteous driving style and clear communication with planners/weighbridge Right to work in the UK

Nice to have (desirable)

Experience with walking-floor trailers and transfer-station procedures
