DAKIA - Class 1 Tramper Driver

About Us:

DAKIA is a Bradford-based haulage company specializing in container transport. We are committed to providing reliable and professional services, and we're looking for a skilled Class 1 driver to join our team.

We are seeking a Class 1 Tramper Driver to transport containers, working primarily on a tramping basis with four nights out per week. This role involves delivering containers, with one job per day.

Responsibilities:

Safe and timely delivery of containers to and from various ports and locations.
Adherence to all relevant driving regulations and company policies.
Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and working hours.
Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
Minimum of two years' experience driving artics/Class 1 vehicles.
Valid CPC and Digi Tachograph card.
Experience in container transport preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Port cards for Felixstowe, Liverpool, Gateway, and Southampton are advantageous but not essential. We will arrange for port cards if needed.
Compensation:

1,000 per week (LTD rate)
950 per week (PAYE rate)
Additional pay for any extra shifts.
Benefits:

CPC renewal offered to suitable candidates after a qualifying period.
ADR training offered to suitable candidates after a qualifying period.
