More about the role

HGV Class 1 Drivers Day shift work starting typically between 04:00am - 06:00am. Shifts lengths are typically between 10 - 12 hours. Weekly pay on a Friday. Driving a smart modern fleet

Responsibilities

Operate Class 1 vehicles to deliver goods safely and efficiently Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Load and unload cargo, including flatbed operations as required. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, using the business apps. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality. Communicate effectively with the transport office and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.

Requirements for the role

Class 1 licence (preferably held for two years)*
No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's) Driver Tacho Card DQC card (Driver CPC) Good knowledge of legal obligations regarding operating HGV's
