Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Drivers to join our logistics team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing loads appropriately to prevent damage during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies and regulations. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring client satisfaction at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within the logistics industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Ability to operate heavy machinery and perform basic maintenance checks on vehicles. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members. A commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism in all aspects of work.
