Hillhouse Group is a family-owned business operating throughout Scotland. The company is a major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, readymix concrete, concrete products, road surfacing and civil engineering services to the construction industry and civil engineering sectors.

Due to continued growth, Hillhouse Group are currently recruiting a Class 1 Driver/Crane Operator, based from our Viewfield, Glenrothes, KY6 2RD depot or Soutra Mains Quarry, Pathhead EH37 5TF

The successful applicant will join our team at Hillhouse Group, will be responsible for delivering and operating Block Grab Crane to lift, move and position concrete products to our customers sites. This role requires a strong understanding of crane operations, adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work collaboratively with our team members to ensure efficient job completion. Comply with WTD and EU driving rules to ensure full compliance is achieved. You may be transferred to different plants at times based on workload.

Due to the nature of the work the role requires flexible hours to suit the workload, including weekends.

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) license Valid Driver CPC Valid Digital Tachograph Valid crane operator certification or licence beneficial. Proven experience operating cranes in construction or industrial environment. Familiarity with flatbed loading & securing procedures preferred. EU Drivers' Hours Rules Knowledge
Salary: Competitive with opportunities for overtime.
