Overview

Class 1 Driver - Bulk Tipper Driver

We are looking for a dedicated, committed driver to operate one of our Class 1 Vehicles transporting grains and associated products with a bulk tipper trailer

Primary Duties:
Collecting materials/products from farms/stores as set out by Transport Manager

Delivery of goods to the appropriate mill / store / delivery point

Always ensuring Security of load and being responsible for the cleanliness of the loading area and your trailer and vehicle

Completing all necessary legal paperwork as required (Grain Passport, Delivery tickets, Defect Sheets)

Complying with TASCC Regulations and other associated guidelines

Communicating effectively with Transport Manager about delays and issues

You will have your own vehicle and trailer

Always Practicing good housekeeping and Health and Safety

Complying with drivers' hours regulations

Working hours will vary but will be days, with the occasional night out required as per needs of the business

Flexibility is a must as hours will vary depending on requirements

Nights out required as per needs of the business

Other class 1 duties may be required as per needs of the business

On the rare occasion there is no driving work, yard duties will be required to be completed

Requirements

12 Months Class One Driving experience minimum

12 Months tipper trailer experience desirable

Payrate 16 p/h all hours worked, Nights out paid, and weekend rates at increased rates

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour
