Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial driving and a strong understanding of various vehicle types, including tractor-trailers, box trucks, and heavy equipment. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate routes efficiently while ensuring the safe transportation of goods.
Requirements
Valid Class 1 commercial driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a commercial driver. Mechanical knowledge of vehicles is preferred; familiarity with manual transmission is a plus. Experience operating heavy equipment or paratransit vehicles is advantageous. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics operations. Familiarity with safety regulations related to freight transportation.
