Overview

We seek skilled and dedicated 4 on 4 off or Monday to Friday Truck Driver to join our team in Crick. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with curtain trailers, and will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules efficiently.

All shift are based on a 12 hour day as the truck will need to be back for the next shift, if you are finished early no time/money will be deducted.

Responsibilities

Ensure your vehicle is roadworthy at the start of your shift. (reporting any defect found to the line manager) Checking your load before his trailer is loaded. Ensure that the Load arrive on time at it location and in the same condition it left, reporting any issues to his lane manager when it arises. Ensure that all POD are signed for and a photo copy is sent to your line manager before handing them in at the end of the shift. Once your day is complete, finish by completing a full inspection of your equipment (reporting any new defects to your line manager)

Shifts Available:

09:00 Days 21:00 Nights
Rota shift pattern with 4 on 4 off continuous work, with overtime available. or Monday to Friday, with option for extra shifts at the weekend.

Assessments are available as soon as possible. All applicants must hold a valid UK LGV C+E driving licence, DQC, and Digi-card. There are no more than 9 penalty points, and there are no DR or IN codes.

Days or Nights at the rate of 200 for Limited Company Holders. 168 for PAYE.

A good understanding of English is require

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for Temperature controlled trailer Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within the transport industry. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
