12.00 meal allowance (tax free)

WS Specialist Logistics is recruiting a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our Powered Access Transport Division in the North West. This is a specialist role focused on the delivery and collection of high-value powered access equipment using low loaders across the UK. The position offers more responsibility than standard haulage work and suits drivers who take pride in safety, professionalism, and customer interaction.

A valid IPAF licence is essential. We are looking for IPAF-qualified drivers who understand the importance of safe machine handling, correct loading and unloading procedures, and professional on-site handover

The Role

Delivering and collecting powered access equipment using low loaders Loading and unloading machinery safely in line with company procedures Securing loads correctly to ensure safe transport at all times Handing over equipment to customers and demonstrating safe operation Completing daily vehicle checks and remaining compliant with all safety and transport regulations Accurately completing all job-related paperwork

Vehicle & Equipment

Your own dedicated modern Scania, with an average fleet age of under 2 years R-Series Highline and S-Series cabs Full leather interior, fridge, and inverter You will be the sole driver of your vehicle (except during annual leave or exceptional circumstances) Vehicles maintained to a high standard by Scania Professionally washed on a weekly basis Pride in both your vehicle and your work is essential.

What We're Looking For

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence IPAF certification - essential Experience in low loaders, plant transport, or vehicle recovery preferred Strong attention to safety and detail Professional and customer-focused approach
