Class 1 Driver - Whitchurch SY13 | 15.00 to 19.31/hr | Fridge Work

Monday - Friday - We also have weekend rotas with enhanced rates.

Job Title:

Class 1 Driver (HGV / LGV C+E)

Pay Rates Days:

15.00 - 18.18 per hour

Pay Rate Nights:

16.00 - 19.31 per hour

Shift Types:

Day shifts, night shifts, tramping, and nights out available

Work Type:

Temperature-controlled fridge work

Drop Types:

50% groupage / 50% single drop

Load Handling:

Approximately 50% of loads will require use of a pump truck

Shift Duration:

10 - 15 hours - Long days on this contract

Responsibilities for Class 1 Driver:

Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, handling any issues professionally Collaborate with dispatch and other team members to optimise routes and maintain schedule efficiency

Requirements for Class 1 Driver:

Minimum

2 years' experience

driving Class 1 (HGV / LGV C+E) Maximum

3 penalty points

preferred;

up to 6 points

may be considered depending on the offence Must complete a

4-hour driver assessment

with our in-house trainer before starting Confident using fridge trailers and pump trucks
