We are recruiting a hgv driver to join our family business.

Full Time Class 1 Driver

Limited Drivers Only

Tramping Work 5 Days
(7 Days Available when covering event work- but not essential)
(5 Days then 6 days available as overtime if wanted - but not essential)
Lorry Running from Stoke on Trent

Mixture of General Haulage, Events, Pond Hopping-Fridge/Curtain Work.

Allocated Truck Per Driver
Night Out Money
Good Weekly Wages

We pay 190 per day then 15 for hours 14 and 15 should they be needed, we also pay 20 night out money and cover all Truckstop / service costs if needed / approved

Criteria before getting in touch:
To be able to recieve your days work, periodic reports back to office and crack on with it.
Get out off bed without me calling you to wake up - start times vary,
?0300 to 0700 General Haulage
?00.00 to 00.00 Events (As Required)
?02.00 to 05.00 Pond Hopping

Listen to instructions and do as recommended by management one of our Family.

Nights out, operation stack, boats, traffic, we can't help delays but we will plan accordingly where possible.
COMMON SENSE
2 Years experience - Actual driving,
All Cards up to date MUST
Clean driving licence preferred (Max 6 points)
Clean tacho card preferred - or explanations for DVSA compliance- i know sometimes it can't be helped.
Competent to Reverse onto Bays
Competent with Fridge Trailers (preferred not essential)

Honesty from me
Careless Damage is not tolerated
Choosing not to follow instructions is not accepted

Drink Driving is not tolerated
Drug use is not tolerated
Smoking in Trucks not tolerated

We are a very fair family run business with only 5 trucks, at the end of the day we rely on drivers to drive our trucks, we work with you, we aren't against the driver, we are only looking for drivers due to fleet expansion. Our operating licence can prove this. Our current drivers are happy... (most of the time - but are you a real driver if you don't have an occasional moan about traffic etc)

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: 190.00-191.00 per day
