Responsibilities

Daily vehicle checks Reporting of vehicle defects Ensure vehicles are fit for purpose, always kept clean Monitor temperature controls in line with required delivery specification Carrying out customer deliveries and collections on time and in full Maintaining compliance in line with the EU Tachograph regulations and working time directive Adherence to Health and Safety policies within Oakland and other sites visited Liaising with the Transport Office as required, including to escalate any issues and in a timely fashion Work patterns requiring nights out are available Support the Warehouse team as required. Build working relationships with colleagues and Customers both within the department and throughout the company. Awareness and promotion of Health and Safety regulations within your department. To participate fully in the Company's Personal Performance and Development process and to undertake training and development relevant to your job. To contribute to the development of a respectful and mutually supportive working environment in accordance with our values. Support the team to monitor and control the use of resource in a cost effective manner. Encourage team members to develop and learn, ensuring the team are trained in respective areas to enhance the flexibility of the company. Build working relationships with colleagues both within the department and throughout the company.
