You will be responsible for

You will be responsible for:


This role will require you to (but not limited to) drive the tug, put trailers on and off the bays for loading. Allocate the correct vehicle sizes. Move rigids on and off bays for loading. Manage trailers for trunks to other depots and freezer stock for our deliveries. Support the VMU in trailer movements and MOT trailers on bays for loading blocks. Managing de kit area. Ensuring trailers are with HACCP regulations, checking temperatures of loaded vehicles at regular intervals. Reporting unsafe acts within the yard to management. Overseeing fuel deliveries. Replacing weighbridge rolls and weighbridge test once a shift. Retrieving paper pre checks from box. Ensuring vehicles put on bays are road legal and reporting defects to on shift Transport Team Manager. Internal wash of vehicles on ad-hoc basis.
