About HIVED:

HIVED is a forward-thinking delivery company revolutionising the industry with our 100% electric vehicle fleet and end-to-end delivery logistics. We collect nationwide in a brand new fleet of electric HGVs. We are looking for motivated and experienced drivers to join our dynamic team.

As a HIVED HGV Collections Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all bulk collections happen from our retailers and are trunked across our network. You will transport mostly palletised goods to our warehouses in London.

You will be the face of HIVED to our retailers, providing excellent customer service, professionalism, and providing customers with assistance loading if they require.

You are responsible for securing the vehicle and load to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage. You must be aware of the vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary, and attend essential training in order to carry out the Driver role.

45+ hours per week contract guaranteed plus opportunity for overtime

Rota pattern including

alternating weekends (mandatory)

13 hours (traffic dependent, max 8-9 hours driving time)

Shift Start Times:

Shifts start between 1pm and 7pm and can finish from 9pm to 5am the following day.

You must be comfortable working in the evenings.

Compensation:

40 hour per week at rate of 18.00 per hour and overtime paid at 18.00 per hour

Requirements:

Experience:

Must have valid in date Class 1 licence Must have valid in date CPC Must hold Digital tachograph card Must be over 21 Must not have more than 6 points on licence Must have more than 12 months driving experience in Class 1 vehicle Had a Full UK Driving Licence for over 1 year Electric Vehicle experience is preferred but not necessary Must be open to driving a new vehicle type and learning how to maximise performance out of it compared to a diesel truck. Fluent in English LTD/Self-employed not accepted
