Key Description -

We are a Fuel Delivery Company with a number of depots across the UK and we are looking to expand in the Birmingham area where we will have work all year round on contracted and spot hire basis.

We will predominantly be loading out of Kingsbury but will use other terminals in the area dependent on customer requirement.

We are looking for an individual to join the team the role will form of 2 parts during the seasons - April to September the role will involve overnights up to 3 nights a week. During September to March this will be localized to the Depot and surrounding Areas of Birmingham, Flexibility is Key for this role. The Role will involve Ground-fuels and Aviation.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and deliver Fuel products as per customers instructions.
- Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with Fuel Tankers or commercial driving experience
- Ability to operate automatic transmission vehicles
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures
- Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers on the road
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy Hoses and spending long hours behind the wheel
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and safe handling of cargo

Pay: 17.00-20.00 per hour
