Job Description
DrivenPeople are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for trunking work within a major UK postal and parcel distribution network. Immediate starts are available, with shifts planned one week in advance.
The Role:
Following a successful driving assessment, you'll be carrying out trunking work, moving parcels and mail between nationwide distribution hubs. This role involves minimal manual handling and offers afternoon and evening start times between 14:00 and 00:00.
We are particularly keen to hear from drivers who can work weekends or later shifts.
Requirements:
Full UK C+E licence held for at least 2 years No more than 5 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements) Minimum of 180 days' driving experience within the last 2 years Able to pass a CRB security check
Pay & Benefits:
19.98 - 22.44 per hour (depending on shift times) Minimum daily hours guaranteed Option to secure a regular shift pattern after assessment Weekly pay (PAYE) Holiday pay and pension scheme Onsite parking and canteen facilities
