We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of heavy plant equipment to various sites, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate HGVs to transport heavy plant equipment to and from sites. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness. Adhere to all driving regulations, including drivers' hours and working time directives. Ensure loads are safely secured and comply with safe loading practices. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly. Communicate effectively with the transport team and site personnel. Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and report any defects promptly. Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure personal and public safety. Disclose any collisions that occur while working.

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 license. Proven experience as an HGV Driver, preferably in the plant hire industry. Good knowledge of driving regulations and road safety. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work varying hours and travel to different sites. Willingness to disclose any collisions that occur while working.
