Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with Walkin Floor and Curtain sider vehicles, and possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service. This role involves transporting goods efficiently while adhering to all regulations and company policies. Responsibilities:

Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to and from different locations Follow all traffic and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle Experience of using a Walkin Floor and Curtain Sider Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups Communicate effectively with the dispatcher and other team members Handle goods carefully and ensure they are secured properly
Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 license Minimum of 1 years' experience driving heavy goods vehicles Good driving record with no major violations or accidents Ability to read and follow GPS and other navigational systems Excellent communication skills Flexibility to work weekends and nights if required Physically fit and able to handle heavy loads
