We are a first-rate road transport and logistics company based near Waltham Abbey. We are in partnership The Pallet Network, which is the UK's largest network for palletised freight distribution.

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team. As a Class 1 Night Trunk Driver, you will be responsible for transporting a full double decker trailer to the brand new TPN hub in Swadlincote DE11, and bringing back a full load to our depot in Waltham Abbey.

A typical night !! You would be leaving EN9 2EW around 6pm with a full load, you will travel to the TPN hub, once arrived you are allocated to a bay and there will be time for you to get some hot food provided free of charge by The Pallet Network, and also for some sleep, before getting unloaded and reloaded.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a truck to transport pallets to the TPN hub
- You will not be required to load or load any pallets
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation

Days of work: Monday - Friday

Salary is 37k, paid monthly.

Pay: 40,000.00 per year

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to operate a flatbed truck is a plus
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and customer service skills
