About the role

As one of our general haulage drivers, you'll be out on the road overnight, transporting a variety of goods between depots, warehouses, and customer sites across the UK. This role involves trunking and occasional multi-drop deliveries, ensuring goods are delivered safely, securely, and on time.


You'll be driving modern, well-maintained vehicles and working with a supportive team that values professionalism and reliability.


You will be responsible for:

Safely operating Class 1 vehicles during night shifts, transporting general haulage items across regional and national routes. Completing trunking runs and occasional multi-drop deliveries, depending on the schedule. Conducting thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift to ensure roadworthiness. Maintaining accurate records, including logbooks and delivery paperwork. Adhering to all road safety regulations and company procedures.

About you

You'll need a valid Class 1 licence, a CPC qualification, and a DIGI tacho card, with at least 2 years of HGV driving experience. Experience in general haulage or night trunking is a bonus, but full training will be provided for the right person.


This role involves night driving across regional and national routes. You'll need to be confident handling large vehicles, have a good understanding of UK road regulations, and be able to manage your time effectively while working independently.
