Position: Class 1 HGV Driver

Salary: 43,333.65

Location: Reading - RG2 0BS

Shift patterns: Monday-Friday - Start time: Between 04:30-06:00am

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

We're now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

Multi drop delivery of products to customers premises, delivering bulk loads, picked directly from vehicle for delivery to customer (covering: Reading, Luton and London areas) 2 person driving team - 2nd driver/drivers mate will be allocated You will be required to work 2x weekends in December as this is their busiest time of year Some of the deliveries will be in Central London Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations Count and check all products, compare to manifest and complete a visual check for any anomalies and damages Working in a physically demanding environment in a safe manner Manual handling will be required for this role

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving License, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card You must have 6 months HGV driving experience
