Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hgv Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly, and will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all transportation regulations.

Duties

transport goods to various locations. Ensure the secure loading and unloading of cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Communicate effectively with operations and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies while driving. Assist in the maintenance of the lorry, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Requirements

Valid hgv class 1 licence.(New passes welcome) Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices. Ability perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. A clean driving record is preferred.
