Class 1 HGV Driver - Join the DBL Logistics Team!

DBL Logistics is growing, and we're looking for skilled and motivated Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our expanding team! Based at our custom-built warehousing facility near Junction 34 of the M1, we specialize in pallet network services, general haulage, and warehousing solutions.

The Role:

This position primarily involves multi-drop deliveries and collections, which must be completed on time, including some scheduled, time-sensitive drops. You'll work closely with our planning team to resolve any issues that may arise during your route. Flexibility is key, as the role may involve nights out.

Skills & Experience Required:

Minimum of

2 years' driving experience

Must hold a

full DCPC

and

Tachograph card

No more than 6 points

on your license (convictions reviewed on a case-by-case basis) Ideally aged

25 or over

(pending insurance approval) A good working knowledge of

Drivers' Hours and Regulations

Experience with

Class 1 groupage and multi-drop operations

Excellent customer service skills - friendly, professional, and customer-focused

Salary & Benefits:

36,790 basic annual salary

, based on a 50-hour work week (including paid breaks)

14.15 per hour overtime (Monday to Friday)

15.50 per hour on Saturdays

(minimum of 4 hours for running in)

26.20 per night out

, with parking costs covered

Holidays:

28 days of holiday per year

(inclusive of 8 public bank holidays) Additional holiday entitlement:

Earn 1 extra day per year worked

(January to December), up to a maximum of 5 additional days We operate a skeleton staff over Christmas, so the
