Class 1 HGV Airside Driver (SL3)

Pay: 18.50 - 24.00 per hour
Shifts: Days, nights, weekends & bank holidays
Location: SL3, West London

About the Role

We are recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for airside cargo operations at Heathrow for our client.
This role involves secure cargo movements directly airside, working with roller?bed trailers and sealed freight under strict aviation security protocols.
Drivers will be part of a specialist airfreight team, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of high?value and time?critical goods.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Class 1 HGV vehicles for airside cargo transport Unseal and reseal vehicles in accordance with airport security requirements Safely transport airline pallets and temperature?controlled loads Complete airside documentation and follow CAA?regulated procedures Load/unload roller?bed trailers or assist with manual handling when required Maintain strict adherence to safety and security procedures at all times
Requirements

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with acceptable DVLA record Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card Level D / Airside Security Certification (or willingness to obtain) DBS clearance and 5?year employment history referencing (airside vetting standard) Right to work in the UK and ability to pass digital ID checks ADR licence is advantageous but not essential
