IMMEDIATE START

Due to our ongoing growth within the company, we are looking for an HGV Driver with C licence (Class 1) to join the team at Greens Environmental LTD based at our depot in Thornton. Driving predominantly across the north west.

This job can be physically demanding and requires the use of ladders, securing loads with straps and ratchets and tidying away chains, shackles and associated equipment.

Operating vacuum tanker for collection, distribution and disposal of water and waste water. The right candidate will have to be physically fit and happy to undertake this work.

Due to the diverse nature of our business, the applicant will be required to adopt a flexible attitude to their role as they will also be required to drive and operate other vehicles, including our low loader, flat bed, curtain sider and tanker.

Experience for tanker activities is an advantage although not essential as training will be given.

The ideal candidate will be able to do occasional night out and odd weekends on an ad hoc basis between the driver team. Increased rates of pay provided for any out of hours work.

Applicants must be able to work under their own initiative and demonstrate good health & safety awareness.

Must possess full CPC and ideally ALLMI or similar.
