Job Description
We are recruiting experienced HGV/LGV C+E Class 1 Drivers for trunking work within a major UK postal and parcel distribution network. Immediate starts are available, with shifts scheduled one week in advance.
The Role:
Following a successful driving assessment, you'll be carrying out trunking work, moving parcels and mail between depots nationwide. This role involves minimal manual handling and offers a choice of afternoon and evening start times between 14:00 and 00:00.
We are particularly interested in drivers who can work weekends or later shifts.
Requirements:
Full UK C+E licence held for at least 2 years No more than 5 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements) Minimum of 180 days' driving experience within the last 2 years Able to pass a CRB/DBS security check
Pay & Benefits:
19.98 - 22.44 per hour (depending on shift times) Minimum daily hours guaranteed Option to secure a regular shift pattern after assessment Weekly pay (PAYE) Holiday pay and pension scheme Onsite parking and canteen facilities
