Job Description

B & T Hicks Transport urgently require a Class 1 HGV Local Night Driver due to obtaining a new permanent transport contract. Immediate start on successful completion of onsite interview and assessment.

Role:

The Driver must be fully compliant and have extensive experience in loading a wide variety of general haulage goods onto taught liner trailers. Duties include tipping out trailers locally and loading empty trailers locally then returning to our site in Newport ready to drop off loaded trailers ready for our for Distance Drivers to collect and run off with.

Shifts:

Monday - Friday Guideline start time of 4pm with an average finish time of 2am

Rates of Pay:

38k salary Optional overtime available

Driver expectation:

You will be responsible for the accurate, safe, and timely movement of our customers' products to their delivery destination, in line with all relevant health and safety compliance. Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately with attention to detail. Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements.
