Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and an ability to operate heavy vehicles with precision. The ideal candidate must have 2 years minimum experience as a qualified driver.

Duties

Safely operate lorries to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Assist in loading and unloading cargo, ensuring it is secured properly for transit. Perform basic mechanical checks and maintenance on the vehicle as needed. Working 5 days a week with alternating Saturdays

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent). Proven experience in commercial driving is essential. 2 Years experience as a qualified driver Preferably EPIC/MPQC - support to achieve this will be considered for the right candidate Strong mechanical knowledge is preferred for basic vehicle maintenance tasks. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety. Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks as required.

Pay: 20.00-26.00 per hour
