Job Description

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced LGV Driver to join our team based at

BOC Bristol

, working a

night shift

pattern. The start time can vary from 18:00 - 00:00. This is a

PERMANENT

position where you will work 40 hours per week Monday-Friday (Finish Saturday morning) Shift durations can be 10+ hours.


You will be responsible for delivering products to our customers across the country on our BOC contract. This role involves moving compressed gas cylinders between the BOC Site and driving an counterbalance FLT to load and unload your vehicle, full training will be provided.

Pay Rates:

40 hours at an hourly rate of

18.62

Expected earnings on these shift patterns would give an average annual salary of

60,000

per annum. Please note these figures are indicative earnings for this group, actual earnings will vary depending on the hours worked.

Overtime paid at 27.93 Monday to Friday after 8 hours 37.24 per hour for Sunday and Bank holidays. Plus 56.23 per week, night shift allowance, paid when in attendance. Plus 2% monthly Safety Bonus

Essential Requirements:

An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than three points A tachograph cards. A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) A valid ADR licence all classes including package goods other than 1 & 7 is desirable. A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation A safety focusses. Minimum 3 years Class 1 experience

Desirable Requirements:

Counterbalance FLT experience
