Job Description

Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting extra LGV drivers at our Transport & Warehousing division in North End Swineshead, delivering general haulage goods, both locally and country wide, in curtain sided trailers, in a professional and timely manner.

Applicants must hold a clean Class 1 licence and have at least 1 year's previous experience, with a sound knowledge of driver rules and the working time directive.

Days of work: Monday - Friday and alternate Saturdays when required.

Typically starting early morning, the job is predominantly day work, but you must be available to stay out in your cab whenever required with little or no notice if circumstances arise.

You must be able to work on your own initiative and be willing to put a day's shift in - some days can be long, and you must be prepared to do early starts and late finishes as necessitated by the business.

You will be responsible for keeping your lorry to a high standard and adhere to our Health and Safety rules.

Must be able to communicate in basic English.

There is also part time positions available with hours and days to suit

Job Type:
