Independent Logistics Solutions Ltd are part of the UK's largest Pallet distribution company. Due to further expansion of the business, we are looking for an experienced Class 1 Night Trunk Driver to join our team of professional drivers. You will be working Monday to Friday trunking to the Palletways hub in Fradley, West Midlands. ILS operate a modern fleet of vehicles & provide full training for all our staff.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of Role:

To comply with driving hours and working time directives

To ensure driving ability adheres to the safety of others and oneself on the road, ensuring legal compliance at all times

Ensure a professional image of the company and oneself is presented at all times

Meet trunking deadlines as required

Ensure daily vehicle checks are actioned to support Health and Safety criteria

Oversee safe loading and unloading of goods

Responsible for security of loads

Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements

Requirements:

Must hold a

class 1 licence

for a minimum of 2 year

2 years + driving experience with night trunk experience

Have a digitacho card

Hold a CPC qualification card
