Mayglothling Waste Ltd is seeking an experienced

Class 1 Tanker Driver

to join our operations team. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of liquid waste using articulated tanker vehicles, working closely with site teams and operations staff to deliver a professional, compliant service.

Key Responsibilities

Operate Class 1 tanker vehicles safely and in accordance with UK road traffic law Transport liquid waste to and from customer sites, treatment facilities, and disposal locations Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting Ensure all loads are transported safely, securely, and compliantly Complete all paperwork accurately, including waste transfer documentation Follow company procedures, risk assessments, and method statements Maintain high standards of housekeeping and vehicle cleanliness Communicate effectively with the operations team, customers, and site personnel Work as part of a team to support operational demands and company objectives
Essential Requirements

Valid

Class 1 (C+E) licence

Proven tanker driving experience

Maximum of 3 penalty points

on driving licence Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph legislation Ability to work well within a team Strong safety awareness and professional attitude Good communication skills
