Summary

Class 1 Weekend Drivers Required for set runs, 4 days a week (Thursday to Sunday). This is a demanding role that requires a driver with a high skill level, navigating rural A and B roads and requiring precision reversing into tight loading bays and customer yards. The set runs are local with no nights out required. Each shift will be a guaranteed 10 hour minimum payment.

Thursday Rate 14.95 per hour (10 hours)

Friday Rate 14.95 per hour (10 hours)

Saturday rate 19.44 per hour (10 hours)

Sunday rate 24.90 per hour (10 hours)

38'604.80 per year.

Job Types: Permanent, 4 days a week.

Overtime paid on hours over the full contracted 40 hour per week.

Additional overtime available for holiday cover.

Responsibilities

Operate Class 1 curtain side trucks safely and efficiently Ensure timely delivery of goods to clients Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed. Securing the load. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries

Qualifications

Valid HGV license with a good driving record Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with curtain side trucks Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Experience in delivery driving is a plus Commitment to safety and customer satisfaction
