We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles. This role involves transporting materials and large storage containers, We work on a lot of building sites, so some sites are tight to move around, The candidate will be driving a 26 ton 6 wheeler automatic Volvo.
No weekends
No nights out
Early starts, we usually leave the yard for 6am
Duties
Operate flatbed vehicle to transport units/materials to various locations.
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing it properly for transit.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
Provide excellent customer service during collections and deliveries
Experience
Proven experience as a Driver, preferably with a focus on commercial driving
Familiarity with flatbed vehicles and their specific handling requirements is highly desirable.
A class 2 driving license
