Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class 2 ADR Tramper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency in the transportation of hazardous materials. This role involves driving a flatbed lorry for deliveries, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations while maintaining high standards of service.

Duties

Operate a Class 2 lorry for the safe transportation of ADR (Accord europeen relatif au transport international des marchandises Dangereuses par Route) materials. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition and report any maintenance issues. Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies while driving. Ensure accurate delivery of goods to designated locations, maintaining delivery schedules. Complete necessary documentation related to deliveries, including delivery notes and logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times.

Skills

Valid Class 2 driving licence with ADR certification is essential. Proven experience in commercial driving. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance requirements for hazardous materials transport. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues. A proactive approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting during deliveries.
PAYE 15.50 per hour plus paid nights out

LTD 16.50 per hour plus paid nights out
