Due to continued growth and expansion Freightforce Distribution Ltd are looking to recruit 2 experienced class two drivers based at our Head office depot in Norwich depot NR5 8PF.

Forklift licence is an advantage and rewarded with extra 50 per week, equalling 2600 per annum on top of your basic hourly rate of 13 per hour. FreightForce would be willing to put a driver through the FLT training at some point if warranted.

Shifts Monday to Friday 50-60 hours per week.

Daily duties
Walk round checks of vehicle, noting/reporting defects
Delivering Pallet network deliveries across Norfolk (NR/IP/PE postcodes) Kerbside deliveries to residential addresses only Business deliveries to Goods In when available.
Average 10 -15 deliveries/collection each day. Driver would be operating a tail lift on a curtain sided rigid truck Experience is essential due to the importance of the role required. Mentored training is given to all drivers to help use equipment, handle paperwork and achieve the levels required.

Electric pallet trucks are available for heavier pallets. Overtime available if desired. Saturday paid at 15 per hour. Weekly Pay in arrears 28 days holiday per year (inc. Bank Holiday) Annual non accident bonus of 500 paid in January if you have no accidents in a calendar year (Jan-Dec) Driver referral scheme in operation , receive 200 for a successful referral
Clean licence preferred maximum 6 points accepted

Expected Salary: up to 35k-40k per year
