Permanent and full time! We are recruiting an LGV driver to join our distribution network based from our depot at St Columb Major, Cornwall. As a dedicated member of the Distribution team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and timely while maintaining St Austell Brewery's fantastic reputation across the South West.

You will be responsible for:

Preparing the lorry for delivery and accurately verifying the contents of inventory loads against load sheet documents. Reviewing all delivery instructions to support service standards Completing all documentation promptly and accurately as required Ensuring that the vehicle is loaded safely according to the load document Delivering stock in a safe and efficient manner Ensuring that all legislation relating to driving is complied with, including a tacho card Ensuring the vehicle is safe and legal for the road by undertaking and logging routine checks of lights, tyres, oil, water, etc.

About you:

Appropriate level of driving licence for the vehicle, and a driver's tachograph card. Relevant driving experience. Good geographical knowledge. Experience working in a customer-focused environment with a commercial outlook. You will be delivering kegs with an average weight of 63kg meaning manual handling experience is preferable as the movement of heavy goods must be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner.

Additional Info:

Full time hours - 45 hours pw, working Monday - Friday. Start time is 6am.
