Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the UK & Europe. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.

Duties

Transport goods to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including those pertaining to commercial driving standards. Varied start and finish times. Nights out possible with notice given. Weekend work offered.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with appropriate endorsements. Proven experience as a delivery driver. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to tight schedules. Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
