Position: Class 2 Driver

Are you ready to hit the open road with one of the world's most recognised and award-winning supply chain leaders? DHL is searching for passionate Class 2 Drivers to become an essential part of our dynamic Home Delivery service!

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:


Delivery of products to customers premises, delivering bulk loads, picked directly from vehicle for delivery to customer Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations Count and check all products, compare to manifest and complete a visual check for any anomalies and damages Working in a physically demanding environment in a safe manner Will include weekend work - Overtime rate will be payable for working over weekly hours.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

Minimum of 6 months Class 2 driving experience is essential Must hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving License Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card No (zero) points on your license Able to comply with the physically demanding environment Familiar with vehicle safety checks Happy with working hours (weekend work and early start times)
