Our company is a family-owned enterprise specializing in the delivery of concrete via volumetric mixers across Perthshire, central Scotland, and Glasgow areas. The roles will involve operating out of our Glasgow or Falkirk site as required.

We are currently seeking 2 Volumetric/Clamshell Driver/Operators to join our team. The primary responsibility will be to deliver concrete to various customers utilizing our volumetric class 2 trucks and, occasionally, our clamshell truck for soil uplift, while engaging with customers on-site. In addition to driving, the role will require assistance in laying and barrowing concrete as needed, with the aid of a second individual. Candidates must possess physical fitness, as the role can be physically demanding during barrowing.

Applicants should demonstrate the ability to receive and execute instructions from management, work effectively both independently and as part of a team, display self-motivation, possess strong customer awareness, be open to acquiring new skills, and maintain a flexible, positive attitude.

Candidates are expected to hold a clean Class 2 HGV license, a driver's card, and a valid CPC card, as well as have experience operating volumetric and/or clamshell trucks. Our fleet undergoes regular modernization and maintenance, including 6-weekly inspections.

The role also entails the responsibility of cleaning and maintaining the vehicle to a high standard at the conclusion of each shift.

Remuneration is negotiable based on experience ,it is based on a standard 40-hour workweek. Hours may increase based on workload, along with corresponding remuneration.

We offer 28 days of holiday entitlement, inclusive of 8 bank holidays, a pension scheme, and payment on a 4-weekly basis.
