Summary

We are seeking a skilled class 2 Driver to join our team in the heart of the waste recycling industry. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and efficient transportation of materials, directly contributing to our mission of sustainability and environmental responsibility. this role will be very varied that includes HIAB, Bin lorry, Skip and RORO work.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks safely and efficiently for waste collection and delivery. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery activities. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding schedules and routes. Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Participate in training programs to enhance driving skills.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with skip and Roro. Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws. Excellent driving record with no major violations. Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading materials. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Previous experience in waste management or recycling is a plus.

Pay: From 13.87 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Work Location: In person
