Truck Driver

Overview:

As a Class 2 Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in the transportation and delivery of Roof trusses and floor joists, ensuring timely and safe arrival at designated locations. Your responsibilities will include driving commercial vehicles, particularly flatbed trucks, to transport various cargo.

Duties:

- Operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to specified locations.

- Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring secure transportation.

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during transport.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.

- Utilize GPS and other navigation tools to determine the best routes.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or Truck Driver.

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

- Familiarity with flatbed trucks and commercial driving practices.

- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.

- Stay out overnight in the truck occasionally when required .
