Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled C Class driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic regulations while operating a flatbed lorry.

Shifts will start at 7:00am

Duties

Operate a flatbed lorry for the transportation of goods to various locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policy. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all local, regional, and national traffic laws while driving. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during transportation activities.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (Class 2) Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.

Pay: 15.60 per hour
