An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Class 2 (Category C) driver to join our team at Hathaway Flooring due to company expansion.

Hathaway Flooring are a leading wholesaler of flooring and accessories to the trade across the Northwest, established in 2008 they have recently moved to a much larger warehouse in Trafford Park and are expanding their fleet over the coming months.

Please be aware that this role does involve some heavy lifting so candidates must be physically fit.

Your role will be:

- Driving Class 2 vehicles.

- Ensuring company vehicles are maintained in a roadworthy and clean condition, daily defect checks are documented correctly, and all faults are reported immediately.

- Occasionally assist colleagues in loading vans in an efficient and correct manor ready for delivery.

- Represent the company in a professional manner in a key customer facing role, ensuring all customers come away with a positive impression of the company.

- Make sure all deliveries are completed on time and in full on schedule utilising route planning tools.

- Ensure all delivery paperwork is correct and all payments are collected; and all is delivered to the office upon returning.

Requirements:

- Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement.

- Maximum of 3 points on driving licence.

- Full drivers CPC qualification.

- Digital driver's tachograph card.

- Two years' experience of driving category C vehicles.

- An understanding of driver hours and regulations.

Pay and hours:

- 5 day working week Monday-Friday, 07.45 - 16.30.

- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays per year.

- Salary 32,000/year.

- Driver bonus scheme.
