Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

Operate lorries in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Safely load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel use, and any incidents. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, production staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Ensure that all deliveries are made on time while adhering to company policies.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (C) is essential. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Ability to operate various types of vehicles. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. A good understanding of the recycling industry is advantageous.

Pay: 30,000.00-31,500.00 per year
